Last april milwaukee county voters rejected another walker appointee andrew jones in favor of challenger danielle shelton an assistant public defender. With a strong history of serving his community including work with nonprofits we believe blomme would be an excellent addition to our judicial bench since he will look at plaintiffs and defendants in their totality as opposed to the incumbent judge paul c. The milwaukee county circuit court is the largest circuit court in the state of wisconsin. There are nearly 150 000 cases filed annually in the court.

Milwaukee county is home to over 950 000 people living in one of 19 communities which range in size from the city of milwaukee with 595 000 residents to the village of river hills with roughly 1 600 residents. Circuit court judges earn 141 773 annually. The partisan primary was scheduled on august 11 2020. Milwaukee county wisconsin held general elections for county executive circuit court judgeships county comptroller county board supervisors county clerk county treasurer and county register of deeds if needed a spring primary was scheduled for february 18 2020.

Milwaukee county wisconsin held general elections for circuit court judges on april 2 2019 if more than two candidates had filed to run per seat a primary would have been held on february 19 2019. The court consists of 47 branches and has 22 court commissioners. Three candidates in the race for the milwaukee county circuit court branch 5 bench will compete in the feb. The filing deadline for this election was january 2 2019.

The court comprises the first judicial district of the state of wisconsin. The top two vote getters in the primary will advance to the april 7th general election. The top two finishers. Three candidates are running for a six year term as a judge on the milwaukee county circuit court.
